We are pleased to announce that Nick Thomson has joined the team as our new Butchery Training Advisor – North Island.
For Seventeen years Nick has honed his skills around the world as a butcher. To Nick, food is medicine. Knowing where it comes from, what’s going into our bodies, and how food, community, and conversations are formed through. Butchery is an art form, a craft and something that needs to be passed on to the next generation. Nick has been overseas for the past 9 years working in London, Europe and more recently Australia.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Teaching, and his passion is to train the next generation of butchers. Skilled in safe and sanitary execution of various cuts and specialised recipes, with an excellent eye for detail, proven to guarantee employer and apprentices satisfaction by giving quality and great services to support and get apprentices qualified. Nick is excited about the next step in his career and growing further in the role of Butchery Training Advisor.
