Adult Education Short Courses
Our Adult Education short courses can lead to a national qualification in Adult Education.
Studying this programmes will help you develop your career in Adult Education and allow you to design, deliver and assess your training.
The modular structure of the programme allows you to choose courses which focus on the areas that you wish to develop. For example, design and delivery of training sessions, assessment design or moderation.
Assessor Training (4098)
You will learn to:
 1 Day workshop followed by workplace observations.

Train the Trainer
You will learn to:
- Deliver on-job training to small or large groups of adult
- Deliver learning presentations to adults
- Design learning sessions for adult education and training
- Create and maintain a positive learning environment
3 Day workshop with completion of assessments in the workplace.

Moderate Assessment
You will learn to:
- Moderate assessment materials, verify assessment decisions, and follow moderation administration practices
2 Day workshop with assessment during workshop

Facilitate Adult Learning in New Zealand's Cultural Environment
You will learn to:
- Identify diverse cultural needs in a New Zealand cultural environment
- Establish and maintain a culturally safe and inclusive learning environment

Assessed against NZQA Unit Standard 7091 (compulsory unit to complete a National Certificate in Adult Education)

Design Assessment
You will learn to:
- Design assessments and evaluate assessment materials
