ATNZ Apprentice Plan

This plan is for those businesses who want the ultimate hassle free low administration option for managing apprentices. Skills4Work employ the apprentice and match the apprentice with a suitable seconding company reducing your liability and responsibility.

Accelerator Apprentice Plan

The Accelerator Apprentice Plan offers all the benefits of the ATNZ Apprentice Plan without directly employing the apprentice. This is the best option for those businesses that wish to find, employ and control the recruitment of the apprentice.

Base Apprentice Plan

The Base Apprentice Plan provides for one annual visit from a Skills4Work staff to ensure that the company and apprentice are keeping on track and there are no issues that have arisen.

It is a basic plan designed for those companies who have an existing staff member who is a registered ITO assessor. This assessor is responsible for assessing the apprentice and ensuring they complete their unit standards and is progressing in the apprenticeship.

The company is responsible for:

  • Developing a training plan
  • Mentoring and coaching of the apprentice
  • The apprentices weekly wage
  • Holiday pay, sick leave, bereavement leave and Statutory holidays
  • Off job training and fees, and travel and accommodation if required
  • Registration fees with the ITO and training agreement
  • ACC
  • Health and safety
  • Vehicle costs including licences, WOF, insurance
  • Hazard register, accident register and accident notification forms
